どのアイテムが自動的に拾われるか否かにかかわらず、Ctrl-Aで自動拾い自体をオンオフできることに注意。また、自動拾いには(物品の量にかかわらず)1ターン消費が伴う。~
通常自動で拾うことになっているアイテムの上に瞬間移動(teleportやblink)した場合、そのアイテムは拾われない。

pickup_thrownをtrueに設定すると打ち出した矢弾を自動で拾うように設定でき、射撃プレイの際に便利である。~
自動拾い自体にターン消費を要し、視界内に敵対的モンスターがいる際は拾われないことに注意。

- assign_item_slot = (forward | backward) ~
//        When picking up items, the inventory slot into which the item
//        goes is normally the first free slot from a-zA-Z (this is the

//        "backward" changes the slot assignment to the first letter after
//        the last slot.
